Lime pie

Crust

1. 1 Mix the ingredients to make a firm, crumbly dough, like empada dough (shortcrust).
2. 2 Roll out the dough in a baking dish or a pie pan.
3. 3 Bake.

Filling

1. 4 Blend the sweetened condensed milk and the lime juice in the blender.
2. 5 Put the filling on top of the baked crust.
3. 6 Spread 1/2 can of heavy cream over this filling.

Topping

1. 7 Beat the egg whites until very firm (3 egg whites plus 3 tablespoons of sugar).

1. 8 Place on top of the layer of heavy cream.
2. 9 Bake until golden.
