Mash 18 ripe prata bananas with a fork.

Transfer the bananas to a pot, add 2 packets of gelatin powder, cherry or strawberry flavor, plus 3 cups sugar.

Cook the mixture over heat, stirring with a wooden spoon until it comes away from the bottom of the pot.

Grease a tray with butter and spread the sweet. Let cool.

Cut into small squares and coat with sugar.
