• 1½ cups vegetable oil
• 1½ tablespoons Royal baking powder
• 1½ teaspoons baking soda
• 3 cups water, boiling

Chocolate frosting

• 1 can heavy cream
• 6 tablespoons sugar
• 6 tablespoons chocolate
