Cheese and onion pie

Dough

1. 1 Put all the listed ingredients in a bowl and work them with your fingertips until the dough is very smooth and uniform.
2. 2 Line a stainless steel pie pan and set aside. The pan does not need to be greased.

Filling

1. 3 Blend the first 3 filling ingredients and half the margarine in a blender, while sautéing the finely chopped onions in the remaining margarine.
2. 4 Let the sautéed onions cool, then add them to the previous mixture and stir very well.
3. 5 Pour the filling into the pan and bake in a moderate oven until the top is lightly golden.
